Has anyone had an update from db regarding training dates, medicals etc?

How many locations have been invited to interviews? From this thread it seems only peak forest and tilbury. If the positions are in demand surely they will proceed, if not via zoom!

The age range is 18 plus... As with a trainee driver job this a huge age range. I simply asked my question encase anyone had experience as an apprentice and could shed light on what sort of ages were on the courses. thanks for suggesting google though!

Any one have any idea what sort of ages are accepted onto the apprenticeship program at network rail?

My email today basically said that my application has been withdrawn as they do not foresee any interview dates within the next 6 months. Was your email different from this?

that’s 3 of us at peak now then. We all waiting for the email by looks of it. Sure we will receive details tomorrow morning. Hopefully lol

I’m pretty sure it’s for a position and not a pool. Only my opinion though, however the amount of applicants will probably create a pool which people then get syphoned out of into training lol. Frustratingly long process. Do you have your interviews this week? I’m applying at Sheffield...

Yes was unsuccessful with tpe though. Have been in a talent pool with DB since October and passed all tests with Freightliner. Not heard anything from them since December lol Yh mate it's so long just going to keep at it and hopefully pay off one day.

I had the update 2 weeks back saying to be patient due to a high number of applicants, that was for Sheffield though. Be good to know if they are still proceeding with trainees after changes.

As with previous companies I have applied for I have been able to view the job description online, with Freightliner I can not. Do you know if our applications are for a talent pool as I don't recall it mentioning a talent pool. I am unsure though was some time ago and didn't screen shot the job...

I've applied for peak forest (tunstead quarry) as well. Completed assessments and waiting for an interview date, where abouts are you within the process?

I've been sat in a pool for Doncaster and South Yorkshire since October as well. Not heard anything except the Christmas email they sent out to the pool. But agree keep fingers crossed and keep progressing with other company applications.

No date yet. I feel like computer tests and mmi are just a straight pass. I very nearly failed the hand eye coordination test so did not expect that to be to an enhanced level. Only speculation though. All the best with your results

yes received this morning. Sat my fault finding last week and been anxious ever since. wasn't sure I completed enough faults. happy result.
