Hey, can’t remember the exact structure but both of those are included. MMI being the final part of the day. You do a few tests:pass/fail, do a few more : pass/fail then I think it’s the concentration/hearing test and MMI.
Good morning, I’m after a bit of advice if anyone knows or has been in a similar situation. I completed and passed my full psychometric tests for train driving in November. I’ve been invited to complete a RAAT test by Cross Country (issued by the OPC). If I do this test and subsequently don’t...
Was there a contact number for the HR does anyone know? I’ve tried emailing them but to no avail. Also passed my psychs but wanting to make sure they won’t be affected by this RAAT test. Thanks in advance
Hi mate, did you manage to get a number for the HR team? I’ve completed my psychs back in November and want to double check whether or not I need to complete the RAAT test or not. Many thanks.
Hi mate, without wanting to give anything away, I think they’re just the bog standard train driver psychometric tests. I read through the booklet a few times that they send through once you receive your assessment date. I arrived an hour early and went for a coffee to calm any nerves. Once...
Evening/morning. I passed all my psychometrics and was offered a start date of the 06/01/20, but due to my current job role notice period being 2 months I’ll now be on the May course instead.
Alreet mate. Did Sarah say she’d get back to you after the weekend? I think I recall her saying that to me as Wednesday was the last assessment centre..?
Get in there mate. Well done! It must just be the way they interview for it. Great start to the weekend. Keep me updated with when you’re getting started, I’ll do the same.
Sounds similar structure to my interview. To me him doing that was just a test of my concentration and whether or not I’d get flustered at being interrupted when speaking etc? Who knows mate. Best of luck anyways. Try not to stress about it too much. I’m guessing it’ll be tomorrow you might find...
Once you pass the interview you’ll be sent an email containing an attachment with what to expect on the day. It’s the full psychometric test if that helps
Crikey! That is not ideal. Thankfully mine went nothing like that. It’s good news when you hear back, definitely. Do you know the structured interview, the interviewer was asking me a question and then as soon as I was answering that one he was in asking a side question. I feel it’s something to...
There were 6 candidates at my assessment centre. I think anymore would have been off putting. The day I feel went well and didn’t find the tests too tasking. I had a decent seat which helps. The only part I found frustrating was the interview at the end and then not finding out until after the...
The competency based interview? Or the psychometric structured one?
Competency based interview I was told around December time that I’d find out if I made it to the psychometric testing.
Then for the Structured interview(Friday) at the end of the psychometric testing, I found out if I passed or...
Good luck, you’ll be fine. Just be yourself and I’m sure you’ll smash it. There were 6 in my group, and only 3(including myself) made it to the end of the day. Not sure how they got on in the interview though.
