From everything I have heard it only seems to be Train Managers getting contracts. Looks as though any conductors starting are having to wait ( seems to be true for the depot I have applied for in any case ) be good to hear from you in december to get an idea how the training is coming along for...

Not heard anything yet ! I know the harmionsation is still under way , hopefully it gets cleared up sooner rather than later but I can imagine we will be waiting until the new year before we hear anything about training

Thank you for everybody's input , it might be a case of just sit tight and wait until it gets resolved internally, I have the feeling it wont be until the new year which isn't necessarily a bad thing for me, I will be absoultely over the moon once a formal offer comes through !

Hello Not sure if this is allowed to be discussed or not , I believe a few people are waiting for training and medicals dates awaiting this to be finalised between the two roles , any info on this would be great or potential time frames etc Thank you in advance

Yeah I was very excited at first ! I can only imagine they are sorting it out as quickly as they can though for everybody. It's going to be worth the wait once we find out when our training starts.

I actually received an email today providing me a Conditional offer pending medical etc , no date given for medical but advised they would be in contact , however a few mins later I was advised the email went out in error , so I'm guessing they are in the process of sorting it out for us ! So...

Hi , I also had my interview in July (different depot) and still waiting for a medical /start date , from what I can gather most people end up waiting a couple months before getting one, seems like longer though !! Hopefully they come through soon !

Passed my interview for the Conductor role for GWR at Exeter St David's really excited to start and currently on hold for training dates , is anybody else waiting for this ? Or have any particular idea on how long the wait could be for available dates ?

Had the long awaited call to tell me I was successful with my Conductor Interview earlier this week. Currently on hold awaiting a training date. Couldnt be happier! Would just like to thank all the tips and information on this forum, this is my first post but have read countless posts on here...
