Yeah. I had an email back in February saying that the depot I applied for wasn’t recruiting any time soon and would I like to keep my application going by changing depot
Having originally applied for Par and recently being asked if I wanted to move my application to Plymouth due to recruitment changes it was a no brainer. Depot or mainline, I’m not sure, but still gonna give it my best at DMI, whenever that may be
Having driven 3 hours to get to work before I can safely say it wasn’t fun. 3 hours to get there, 10 hour shift then 3 hours back, providing there was no traffic, never again!
You’re in exactly the same boat as me. I too live in Par and google says it’s 57 minutes to drive to Plymouth. 50 minutes by train depending what time of day you need to be there
Yeah, given us a week to reply with our choice, then a zoom DMI will be arranged depending on our choice. Just glad they didn’t completely pull the plug, guessing as they’ve spent a considerable amount putting us through the psychometrics made sense to just change the depot
