They have around 7 people per class n they normal group each location applied for together. So snow hill new street n Bletchley would mean 21 drivers. Im sure there was more locations so don’t worry there are plenty of vacancies
It’s exactly that! You guys may have passed the SJT, but then failed to meet the standard on the application. This is only the first SJT and it is made up as part of your application. Keep trying though it took me 3attempts.
Some people have had a response confirming they’ve been unsuccessful, if you haven’t heard bk by now you’ve most likely made it to the next stage. It normally takes 3-6weeks to hear bk
I had a update the other day from my instructor he said training should be resuming shortly, also had a letter from aslef stating we will be doing half of the normal shift to mitigate covid risk during in-cab training. We also have to have a 1 week refresher course on the rules. I’m guessing...
they're looking for how you handle pressure and how you act in emergency situations so keep that in mind, explain how you keep your cool and how you plan ahead and implement things to avoid possible problems and reduce risk. when you pass that remember everything because the dmi is very similar
I applied in feb but I had already passed all my assessments also, I think very few got fast tracked through the process most had done the assessments already. hang in there it does take a while but its worth it
Yh some companies are like that, arriva are pretty good. I missed out with them because they do an enhanced test. and I missed the score by 1. I know exactly where I went wrong aswell but luckily ive got through here so no need to apply with them again. happy days

no they didn't, I only found out my start date today. some people did get a heads up on potential start dates prior to their medicals, so don't be afraid to ask if you want to know.
