The Kirkby line is back running at 4 trains per hour. It’s certainly low key reintroduction of the time table, I get the impression the guards have not been informed. Yesterday, there was a 15 minute service from Southport to Central, every 30 mins to Hunts Cross.

I am currently on the first eight car 777 service to Ormskirk.

I was trying to remember if 507 021 was one of the two trains involved in the Kirkby crash that occurred this month in 2021. On checking Wikipedia it only mentions 507 006. I knew the crash was this month but what I had forgotten was the crash was 3 years ago today.

769 442 arrived at platform 3 at Southport today; just before 13:00. I believe it’s fairly uncommon for Northern trains to use platform 3. 769 448 was on platform 4.

I think it was still in service on its way to Southport. I cannot confirm if it was done last night, I just happen to overhear a conversation. It looks like BankHall was done last night, the train manager said it was not like it is yesterday.
