    Unless your rail staff or a key worker the opportunity to travel is not there at present, luckily I live close to a line which is fairly active freight wise so I get to see the odd movement . I do visit this forum regularly but don't always log in.

    The new ticket machines were being trialled today, they were accepting contactless payments but were unable to scan the loaded smart cards.

    I'm having a 20p return from Reddish South to Sheffield later today. Not a bad price for a ride across the Hope valley and a bit of tram haulage thrown in.

    £2 single, £3:50 return, £15 weekly ticket. Undercuts the bus fare and significantly quicker, although Piccadilly Is a bit of a hike from a lot of the City.
