    Looking through the back window, it would appear that only the up line has been wired north of Tirphil station. I can't see any infrastructure for the down line to be electrified at present, which is interesting.

    I saw one fail at Pengam station. It looked like the brakes refused to come off as the train started. That said I am blissfully ignorant of the engineering on these units. As a passenger I found the two I've ridden on most comfortable. Their definitely a nicer ride that a Sprinter.

    Trivia: Stations which had a Woolworths store very close to them.

    Bargoed had a woolies about a minute walk from the station.
