Well I’m actually From Northern Ireland and if you have been there you would know the train service is actually entirely different, so maybe I will play that card then :)

In no way fuming, irritated to be issued with a £60 fine as I’m sure most people would be but understandable :) unfortunately for myself I was using the Trainline app and specific the “barcode” ticket option rather than the “ticket” option: the main difference being on the ticket option it does...
Very understandable, but I think common sense should be applied to some situations, simply a mistake not a calculated attempt to save myself money on a trip...
