I had this with GTR. This is how they do it. You will do the driver manager interview first and then MMI after. Make sure you remember what you wrote in your 6MMI questions as they will ask you about them and more. Good luck

It was a southern pay deal mate . Great Northern May have it in there conditions but I don't know.

Pay is more then stated

You train then become a qualified. Training is between 3-6 months

With the new pay deal a certain number of shunters will be promoted to main line each year. Be prepared to be there for a few years before progressing.

Thanks for the heads up regarding flat tyres. Can't imagine finishing in the early hours to find you have a flat tyre.

Afternoon guys, when it comes to the railway it is unfortunately a waiting game. I was a Dept driver for another company before and it took 10 months from assessments to actually starting. I worked in a team of 16, I would say 13 of which will always be Dept drivers unless they have incidents...

It's the pressure.
