I have put down for Bristol myself, I was told they havent sorted out mendip trainees yet mate. Where did you hear that theres a course for it already?

Tbh had a similar conversation earlier and was told pretty much the same. Theres a few of us in the waiting area after completing medicals which means we are definitely wanted by GB but just waiting on further information from the contract..God I hope its soon lol

I havent got a clue mate tbh I applied through a different site so whenever I "log in" to the GB site it says i havent applied for any jobs. Tbh they told me exactly the same a week or so ago so it's just sit tight now gents. Medical takes about an hour or so btw

no mate nothing mentioned in terms of contracts at present. You heard anything?

I spoke to them last week and was advised possibly 2 months until we can expect to start. It was mentioned tbh may/June so they must be trying to arrange a course and confirming required numbers..

I was told that everyone who got through would be put into the pool. This is apparently common across the rail sector now so it's just a waiting game. On the email it clearly states that once positions are available they will contact to arrange medical and look forward to welcoming you to...

to be honest I think with the amount of people in the pool I doubt they would be recruiting anytime again in the near future surely?
