It seems quite a mishmash of a rake!
OK, here's a fun one. On 19th Feb 1978 Deltic ballymoss ran out on the gwr!

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has any pictures of the maidenhead signal box? it seems it was a short lived beast. it was a pretty modern looking thing. The only picture i've found is one at sunset and so is in shadow on flickr! not much help really!
Or perhaps does anyone know of any other...
Funnily enough they've now updated their policy:
https://www.sleeper.scot/coronavirus-covid-19/
Indeed - you can now get refunds, if they dont run the service (they've dropped a load of them) and/or if your "reason for essential travel" is no longer valid.
However; Thats only for pre-existing...
Gareth Dennis mentioned that tpe pushed the 802 up to 148mph? in the last week or so. Hence stealing the crown for fastest non high speed rail service in UK? (Altho didn't hst do 153?)
Curiously not seen this anywhere in the press. Supposedly it was a mistake.

Hi,
I'm looking at booking the caledonian sleeper. Their advice is book a flexible ticket - but the flex tickets are £280 more than the already expensive fixed tickets.
I understand if the service doesnt run, then i'll get a refund.
But; they've made it clear that if I don't travel due to say...

https://www.pathfindertours.co.uk/events/the-galloway-fifties/
Seems like a true marathon of a day. I guess it's been ran before, anyone been on it?
Anything to look out for on such a long "day" tour?
OK. So i was all confused because on the website the Autumn west highlander is scheduled to run. And i couldn't imagine how that could work - so I spoke to them - it seems this is just a glitch in the website! It shouldn't be listed.
Nevertheless there's plenty of capacity on the rails at the...
Hi,
If a rail tour has to operate at half capacity due to social distancing does that work? Or does it mean it must be cancelled?
I've read rumours that they have to be 95% full to break even - which seems unlikely?
Are the latest reliability figures out yet?
The last 2 weeks seem to have been pretty bad. Siemens must be pretty embarrassed?
Have they really not exceeded the reliability of the 313s yet?
