    National Express Coaches Discussion

You can't buy a ticket online within ten minutes of departure, nothing to stop a driver selling a ticket though if it isn't a manned site, the one place we aren't allowed under any circumstances to sell tickets on the coach is in Victoria, they have to go to gate zero to buy a ticket there

As far as I know the ex hybrids aren't going to see the road again with EY, I believe the plan with 348 is for it to become a driver trainer. I doubt 698 will be used again in service by EY given its age

The way it read to me was the passenger wanted to travel early and the driver wouldn't sell them a ticket for the earlier service

It depends how early they were wanting to travel, if its within an hour or so fair enough but we get people buying cheap tickets for a much later service then wanting to travel in some cases 6 or 7 hours early.

It seems 698 is delicenced again. 902/8 have also been delicenced. 824 is currently in body shop. I suspect the B5 conversion currently in paint shop will replace 756

I suspect it will be a write off given the age of the bus. There are several possibilities, it could mean a reprieve for 698, 705, any of the 90x or 724-6, alternatively the B5 hybrid conversion currently in paint shop could replace it 1785962942 Yes

I can't see it being repaired given the age of the vehicle
