Lots more maintenence with jointed track. Dipped joints, bent rail ends, broken and cracked fishplates, rail gaps need checking as rail can creep and close gaps on enough 60ft sections to buckle rails, fishplates need greasing or can rust to rails and cause buckles.

I had similar problems and gave up. I use the Transport for Wales app now.

The biggest problem is that they don't carry DoT staff to London! If they had to put up with the abysmal service they might do something about it.

Well they have updated the national rail app and it seems to run in a browser window like the website. A massive downgrade IMO. Less clear graphics and clunky. Looking at the reviews on google play it is getting one star and an absolute slating.
