I recently went on the Retro railtour to Southend 28-05-11 and the Compass tour to Dundee 01-06-2011. Both good trips.Here are a few comments.
Start Time Retro later and more sociable but Compass trip further to travel.

Wouldn't suprise me. I live in the North but have been to Brighton several times from East Croydon. Totted it up one time and there at least 100 trains a day going to Brighton. It's a nice place don't get me wrong, but the number of trains to Brighton seems oversubscribed.
