Hi, has anyone recently left Network Rail who was working throughout 2022, been told they will not receive back pay following the pay award. I have received an email stating they have reached a decision not to pay leavers the uplift. I can't believe that is legal its certainly morally bankrupt ?

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has posted on this thread. the advice is so valuable. I have passed medical and just waiting for start date with signalling school booked for mid November. It took 10 months and 28 applications to get there. So for those at the start of the journey...

Can anyone give me an idea on how long it takes HR to send out an offer pack from when you received a verbal offer ?

Matt I am in a very similar position. Passed the tests but no interviews. It’s hard no to be down about it, however from this thread persistence seems to be key. I also tweak the pre screen each time. Good luck

Congratulations for those off to signalling school. Any tips you can give for the application process would be most welcome. Just had another rejection for West Hampstead although that was a grade 8 !

I found them hard, I answered all questions on verbal reasoning and didn't complete all the numerical ones. I have applied up to grade 9 and reached the benchmark but obviously didn't score high enough to be put forward for interview.

The three applications which were unsuccessful went from test complete, application under consideration then swiftly to application unsuccessful. I currently have two more that have changed to application under consideration so not holding out much hope.
