Does anybody know exactly where the office is for the medical in Brighton, it’s in the BRIGHTON CED apparently. I’ve been to the ECR department for my interview so can find that easily enough.
It’s very nice, I’ve been trying to work out roughly what the basic salary is for a grade 5, with spot rate, Sunday’s and night shift allowance I think I must be well off the mark otherwise this job is very well paid and I should have joined up years ago!

So I’ve been sent a formal offer for a job according to the online website. What comes next? It’s is medical, drug and alcohol tests and a reference still out standing or is it just proof of previous employment?
Totally agree, fingers crossed I’m about to land a post, then it’s time to focus on passing train school then learn the job then I shall be looking at my shifts
All sounds simple enough, I’m guessing some people prefer the 8 hour roster if it hasn’t been changed to the 12 hour one. What does the 12 hour shift pattern look like?
