I agree with RailPigeon, you could not actually be guilty.
The charge is claiming that you tried to not pay the correct fare for your journey, whereas you have proof that you did definitely try to pay for the right ticket.
It is a rare chance, I would look for those bank statements and provide...
@LSM17 My recommendation is to join a TOC, for a year under a different role, after a year, a lot of TOCs will allow you to apply for other roles in the company, being internal does help some chances from what I've heard.

On a note about the 4 TOCs, in the current cross-country "short-term" timetable, they have a service that finishes at Eastleigh (1545 BMH - ESL)

But your daughter, didn't originally buy the correct ticket, and again, it's not just over £3, I imagine this happened more than once that she travelled since she was 18, plus didn't you say earlier she lied about her year of birth?
