Yeah they're the ones. I guess its easier to change the announcements when there's no one needed to record them but can't say I'm a fan

I've been using the Headbolt Lane line this week and the automated announcements have changed again compared to a week or two ago. A new voice doing the announcements about smoking/vaping and speaking to the TM if you need assistance

I tapped in yesterday around 6.20am to 6.25am for a train departing in the peak at 6.30am, returned in the afternoon and have been charged for a daysaver rather than an anytime return, so it didn't pick up my next available train was in the peak.

Never mind they've just taken the payment and emailed me, so it must be daily

The times I've been on them when there's been problems with the doors it's been because they've been seriously crowded and the step wouldn't retract, and the guard or driver has come on the PA and asked people to try and move away from the doors

Thanks...I've gone through the upgrade process for the return journey now and the seat reservations for that leg change before making a payment so definitely seems to be a problem with the outward journey

Travelling 3 times a week to work, 25 mins each way since they were introduced on the Ormskirk line months ago and I've found the seats fine. I've just been down in London for a few days and found the Elizabeth Line seats a lot worse, ending up with a 'numb bum' a couple of times

The Ormskirk train I was getting this afternoon around 1.30 was cancelled at Central and restarted from sandhills, and 777049 replaced whatever unit went bang
