My eyes have indeed deceived me whilst driving past, the mast on the platform at Blackrod hasn’t yet got its top half it’s the one behind it I caught glimpse of, will keep aclook out this weekend though
I’m beginning to think that if they actually blitz the stations and progress like it is at the moment May/June might not be so far off, I still think around July though as there’s still those issues south of Bolton
As scheduled Poulton Signal Box is no more and was demolished today.

Just seen on twitter that they are installing foundations at Red Moss in Horwich this weekend, it looked as though all the masts were up along that stretch:rolleyes:

Plenty of work trackside at Chorley, new mast at Blackrod and a new large base about to be constructed as per photos, it’s odd where these bad ground contortions seem to be but nonetheless they seem to be getting amongst it
