If this validity is through the shourtest route rule, it opens up the question about validity on the tube through dual availability of LU/NR tickets between Stratford and Liverpool St discussed here: http://www.railforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38131&page=2
I don't know what role London Travel Watch plays. This is what they think about the matter:

Thank you for your email.
Together with my Director, we have made further enquiries. We’ve found that Southeastern passengers have been allowed to use the National Express East...
I am not an expert. My understand is that Stratford Regional and Stratford International stations are seperate stations. And apperantly this complicates the shourtest route rule for the HS1 users to Liverpool Street. This is only through talking to various different people from SouthEastren...
I have been commuting on the High Speed HS1 service to and from Liverpool Street since 2009 when the service was introduced. I have a train only gold card season ticket to London Terminals with High Speed. And I have been able to travel to and from Liverpool Street on National Express with no...
I had the same issue with my Gravesend to London Terminals ticket. I was stopped at the new entrance to Stratford regional at Westfield on Tuesday morning. The lady at the barriers didn't know that the ticket was valid to Liverpool Street. I went back to Stratford International and spoke to a...
I now renewed my season ticket at London Liverpool Street station. It is near the office if I have a problem with my ticket and they seem to know more compared to staff at Gravesend or Stratford International. It is probably due to the fact that more passenger pass through Liverpool Street and...

Dear [Name Removed],
I dont know if you remember. I saw you on November 25th. You kindly helped me and came down with me to see the London Underground staff and explain them why my Gravesend to London Terminals season ticket was valid between Stratford and Liverpool Street on the LU. I...

I use Stratford International on a daily basis. The station has 3 exits. One of them is meant for domestic passengers and it is nearest to the regional station. It is not open until Westfield opens. Walking to the regional through this exit shouldn't take more than 6-7 mins.
Also, see the link...
clagmonster, I have been commuting between Gravesend and Liverpool street since last year using my Gravesend to London Terminals season ticket. I change at Stratford for National Rail trains wih no problems. I tried to use the Central Line this morning. My ticket wouldn't let me through the...
Thank you. This is very good news. People who want to commute from Kent to City on the HS1 won't have to pay extra for the underground and will be able to complete the journey faster.

I took the 7.22 train at Gravesend, changed at Stratford for...
A season ticket from Gravesend to Liverpool Street via Stratford costs £3292, same as St. Pancras. As I work near Liverpol Street, I don't have to pay extra for the underground. That is the advantage of changing at Stratford. I am hoping to do the journey from Gravesend to City under 45 mins...
I have now decided to go for a train only season ticket using the new HS1(High Speed train) from Gravesend to Liverpool Street via Stratford. There is currenctly a bus link between Stratford International and Stratford Regional and it only takes 5 mins. As suggested by A60K, one would expect the...
I have been commuting to City from Gravesend on coach for the past 3 years. I have now decided to use the HS1 (High speed) service. I was prepared to pay the more expensive season ticket with extra for the underground until I saw this thread.
It seems it is going to be cheaper to change at...
