Damn good point. Amost everyone who owns a smoke detector doesn't know how the air is ionised in them - nor do they care! It's far easier to protest about a big sugar lump being transported by one of the safest methods available.

It's not necessarily about the amount of money that changes hands (if any) but moreover the piece of paper that indicates ownership. ie.signatures on a contract of sale. Remember that even EWS can "donate" if it suits them.
