Gravesend railway station is still over 1 hour by public transport.

Living north of the Thames makes that rather impractical. Even getting a cab over to Dartford would lead in to a 55 minute bus ride, or 50 odd minutes on a train. I don't think you can get over the bridge, and in to Dartford town centre in under 10 minutes!

Well the rule about 60 minutes by BOTH public transport and own is annoying. I am under 30 minutes driving, but around 90 by public transport.

shift length dictates how many days you get off. All of TFL is pretty much similar in that you will average about 36 hours a week. The advert should have said if you'd be on a mix of shifts, and likely hours. LU was 7 hour days 5 days a week for my position. One of our department that moved...

It all depends on how much you were smoking. I work in the engineering sector, and get drug tested all the time. I've seen people fail after about 3 months if they were very heavy, daily smokers.

I assume this means even if you've passed in the preceding 6 months?

On the topic of the prior posts, if i failed the group bourdon at Greater Anglia's extended pass score, but passed at national, am i eligible to apply to other companies without waiting the six months? I blame working an 8 hour shift finishing at 6am, and heading straight to stratford!
