You should add to the Kings Cross review the news that the Kings Cross Development landlord are using facial recognition technology, and its almost impossible to walk around above ground without it scanning you.
Not to sidetrack too much, but mobile phone "permeability" was specified in the tender for the IEP Class 800 trains. A really good inclusion after many years of Voyagers/Meridians and to some extend the pendolinos being basically faraday cages on rails.

I theorise that the refusal to add non TfL/ARL to the standard tube map is entirely a financial decision. As we all know, TfL's finances are in the toilet...
Could you trial swapping the 'West End' Northern Line to a hot pink colour perhaps? Would be interesting to see what the map looks like with overall two different colours there.
Ugh, just what we need. More rail links thought up by outside parties, without considering the context of it applying to the whole network. Theres multiple options and service patterns to link to Windsor line, Woking, or even Crossrail from the north of Heathrow.
Linking the GWML, Heathrow, then Gatwick to the Channel Tunnel sounds like a great idea, even better than the original HS1/CTRL. However this HS4Air pitch doesn't seem to have any thought behind it, how would we fund it, especially now the government are seemingly moving away from mainland...
In the Evening peak, not a single fast train stops at Slough. All trains are fast to Reading, apart from one an hour which is fast to Newbury or Didcot I believe.
