Yesterday, on a journey through Northampton I spotted a LNWR Class 350/1 on the depot in a new white based livery, with green doors and small LNWR logos on the carriage sides. Does anyone know of the plans to put a new livery on the fleet?

Is Oxford Road operated as if it were a two platform station currently? I.e. one westbound train and one eastbound train at a time in the through platforms. The issue was overcome when TPE used 8-car Cl350s, so the solution likely exists already.

It truly is! The small details, like using inclusive flag designs, really stand out. That and the fact that the train is truly stunning now!

I have to agree - I've always found the Cl390 seats to be very comfortable. Hopefully they see sense! :)

Sending them to Scotland seems a reasonable proposal. I can't help but feel as though a wholistic approach to rolling stock would be better. I.e. identify services such as the Scottish ones where a pure DEMU would suffice and those where bi-mode capability would be useful such as core XC. From...

I noticed that the Leyland call has been dropped on the Blackpool to Hazel Grove services yet not on the Hazel Grove to Blackpool services. Is there a specific reason for only 2 services a day to call towards Hazel Grove yet 16 call towards Blackpool?

It seems to be that the RTT link is a mixture between the two. Where one drops out, the other path seems to have times at the correct time. E.g. Grayrigg expected time is 0919 on 309Z and on 311Z the train passed at 0920. Looks like a mishmash of paths maybe has occurred
