    the footings next to the down filton are in the way of the new track thats going back in! a new single span footbridge is goning to replace the old one

    no ballast being dropped on the formation for a while yet, just digging for the new track bed. drainage works filton end near lockleaze bridge in a couple of weeks though ;)

    Try the western valley line (Ebbw vale) and check out the redoubling work from Crosskeys Junction to Aberbeeg! Shame it's been mothballed but you get the idea of what could have been.
