The last brand new busses for Stevenage were the 2 delivered in 2012. KX12HAE an Enviro 300 and KX12HAA a VDL Pulsar just checked my garage photos. 14 years of getting cast offs
Find it odd there is a distance between those stops. That puts people off. At least NX you are in the same place. I nearl missed my coach the other week i wentvto the usual stop. I should have been at the Aston stop
Everyone is correct but most situations now are risky. Stabbings have also made it not worth worth while asking people to move. Its an easy situation to deal with but from a drivers security point of view cant really do much
Wait till they get the shock of running a bus company. I think in the long term it will give mayors a reality check. West Midlands has had a near monopoly which may not be perfect but worked. The fleet was not that bad.
Who would buy an operation you could loose at franchising. The only thing is the Mayor has a lot of explaining to do. As pointed above he will have a company and then break it up seems what he has been asking for he has got it. Now he does not know what to do
Judging how vocal and anti National Express the Mayor has been from day one. I cant blame Mobico for letting him have the business. He moaned about the monopoly and funding. Lets see what he does differently. West Midlands Buses is now his problem.
Dont think the Stagecoach management want to run coaches. 20 years ago the coaching unit in England and Wales was large. Cwmbran-Megabus, Oxford- National Express and Oxford Tube, Folkestone-National Express, Barnsley-National Express before they moved to Chesterfield, Cheltenham-National...
Worksop Bus Station is not that bad.Its finding it i have seen drivers missing the turning.Mansfield is fine its just geting out with a tri axle that i find challenging
Every thing has a price but do Flixbus want to pay to use more stands .Their Birmingham stop is off a busy dual carriageway i have asked why cant they use the old Megabus stand in Birmingham.
Which competitors .Flixbus have taken a majority stake in Flibco so they cant really compete against themselves. How many Flixbus services operate M11 or A1 corridor .
