    Need help with a Northern rail debt recovery letter?? Is it a fine?

    The revenue officer didnt ask me to pay the fare even though I offered and there's nothing about paying anything in the letter so I haven't paid anything.

    It is a first time offence, like I said, I was desperate. If it's a first time offence is the possibility of a prosecution or court appearance unlikely and will it be an out of court settlement/fine ? theres not really much info on the letter.
