I was told this campaign was for trainee’s but to keep an eye out for the careers page as from time to time they do advertise for qualified drivers… so that is what I will be doing :)

For those in the reserve pool, don’t worry! Happened to me and Im 7 months into my training! It is a good thing, my email said exactly the same. They cant take u all on at once. Be patient and well done! You are very much in the mix :)

You were so lucky... been a long 4 years trying to get the drivers job and I am so glad to be here now. Just finishing my training this week and about to start at my depot on Monday. 8 years I was in the police and I couldnt be happier to leave and get the job I wanted. Skipped out the door

I started in Jan and my reference was done the week after I started.

The forum helps massively!! Take the time to read it and it will give you a good insight to the Role and whats required during the recruitment process etc. 100% you make the effort to visit a depot, but before doing that make sure you know your stuff, so you can go in and clarify any questions...
