    Some new carriages have been visible at Portbury since Monday. There seems to be at least 3, maybe more - it's hard to tell from the M5 over ridge whilst moving!

    Meanwhile, further into South Wales, the unpowered half of an old Geismar multi-purpose vehicle is used by Colas Rail for similar purpose on the log trains between Briton Ferry and Baglan sidings. Haven't seen a photo of it in action though.
