To be honest I had my interview on a Friday and found out on the Monday, my fiend had his on a Wednesday recently and found out the next day. Did you have your interview yet?
Hi mate. Learn a bit about the company like what areas they cover, how many daily services, passengers etc. get it from their website and Wikipedia.
Also and you'll thank me for this after your interview, it's on their site and application form you filled out. They will 100% ask you what the...
Yes I too applied in august 2014, I stArt my training in September. There haven't been anymore orpington or grove park vacancies since. Good luck bishaaj
You should get the practice booklet in the email, pretty much covers a lot of it. Dot test, hearing and concentration test, memory test. Structured interview will follow if you pass the tests but you'll be given about half an hour to write and prepare your answers. I took mine in February...
Just learn some bits about the company, read their site and note a few facts like what areas they cover, how many daily passengers, how many trains and services, core values if they have them. Just write a few points down in bullet point and drum it into your head, they want to know you've...
Hello mate, probably applied the same time as you but I had my interview for Orpington in April and now start in September. I've heard from other people who have enquired there's another course starting in November and there will be another round of interviews in mid July.
--- old post above ---...
I done mine split over 2 different dates because they had a lot of people doing it that day so I guess it's quicker for them to filter out the ones who didn't cut the mustard. Tests are all passable for the average man with a half decent brain. Once I started doing them I found them enjoyable in...
I'm currently a postie and I applied last august and I start in September. It can be done mate, like the poster above pointed out they liked the fact it showed in loyal as I worked there for 11 years and I have learned how to follow rules and proceedures well.
I applied for southeastern the same time as you. I had my tests in feb and interview in April , I now start in September. My friend didn't hear anything like yourself so he emailed them and then he got a date for assessment. It won't hurt to email them.
Morgan I applied last august done my assessment in march and had DMI a few weeks later so from the tests onwards it was pretty fast for me as some people wait ages for an interview. If you pass your application you'll get assessment date at some point just relax and try to be consistent rather...
Thanks for the info mate I'm greatful you took the time to write all that. I'm focused and know it have to dedicate, I know I will have to do a lot of revising in the evenings and that when I finish work for the day that doesn't mean I shouldn't do more.
Got confirmation from southeastern that I passed my medical and have been given a start date for trainee train driver. Any advice on what I can expect and any other advice in general. Looking forward to a new chapter in my life.
