I am currently into week two of Freightliner training course and was told that there is four courses starting in 2019, roughly forty eight trainees, so still a good chance of starting.
Was told today by that the total number of applicants nationwide was 12,000.
I'm training at Ipswich and live in Barnsley. Steady 3 and a bit hours drive. :)
Yes it's definatley a big posiitive, the little things matter. Car even gets dropped off at my house!
Hi Nishhh, yes. Hire car and hotel for the duration of the training ( 5 months give or take), before going to chosen depot to learn routes and get the 150 hours in of wheels turning, speaking from HH point of veiw.
Obviously depends where you live and where your initial training will be.

The recruitment process can be extremely frustrating and can test the patience of even the most laid back of folk. Try to remain positive and use a knock back as something to kick back against to succeed in the future.
