I saw London Has Fallen last week, and I thought it was alright. I'd give it a 3/5, but it was one of those films where I struggled to recognise any actors from previous films that I've seen. Needless to say, I don't watch many films. :p
Of all of the films I have seen in the last year or so...
Consider yourself fortunate that you have the opportunity to go home to your family, regardless of whether or not you wish to do so. Some people have to work over the next couple of days and don't get that opportunity.
Shame about the attitude of the staff in First Class, but an enjoyable review as ever Richard. Can't say I've ever experienced any ill-mannered staff whilst on board the railways (which, to be fair, I don't do very often). Only issue I've ever had was on 156463 while travelling from Newcastle to...
Haha, unlucky. When I alighted at Durham, I headed towards the back of the train for a photo and was surprised to see the new Durham Cathedral livery on the Class 91, which I could then identify. Cocked up the photo though lol.
Have to say I quite like 91114's livery, same case with 43238. Both are nice little additions to the livery. Speaking of which, they seem to be picking up the pace with the number of sets that are going in to be repainted. Nice to see more and more of their sets out on the mainline. The livery...

Had an enjoyable day up in Edinburgh for the Lothian Buses Doors Open Day. :)
I probably should have been clearer, the point made by ainsworth74 below is what seems to have taken the mickey a bit; having a section of a train cordoned off on what is already a busy service.
Go North East contributed very well in my opinion; http://www.simplygo.com/news/extra-buses-and-money-saving-tickets-for-the-great-north-run/
Service R1 operated with 15 double deck vehicles, while the X27 utilised double deckers too.
I'm sitting on the fence with the arguments of bus operators such as Go North East, Arriva and Stagecoach accepting Metro users onto their buses. Part of me thinks; ''good on you'', then the other part thinks; ''why? These extra customers are delaying buses, overcrowding them, and resulting in...
Interesting point. I admit to only visiting the station once on my travels, and the 2-car train did look like it spanned the whole length of the platform.
I'm no expert of the system, but I gather they have a small reserve fleet. Some people suggesting 3-car sets being used might have to consider the fact that to provide a 3-car set is not as easy as just rolling one out and putting it into service.
