    LNER Delay repay difficulties

It is definitely at 30 minutes.

Northern Unit Refurbishments and depot allocations.

You were probably mistaken, there were 331s and 333s which at speed could easily be assumed to be 195s, but I 100% guarantee there were no 195s on the depot during the day. Having checked again, there was a 331 stabled next to a 158 if that helps? 195 reliability is awful but all the knackers...

Ryanair - refusal to amend flight

I was booked on a Ryanair flight back to the UK today. Due to a last minute change of plans, I wanted to amend my flight date to next week instead. Both the app and website wouldn't let me amend my flight. This was roughly 5 hours before the flight. The terms seem to suggest that a flight can...

Northern Unit Refurbishments and depot allocations.

I can guarantee that there has not been a single 195 stood on Neville Hill all day. There have been a number of 158s stopped awaiting repair however.

Great British Railways - First Train in New Livery

The screenshots are from an official document - namely "Rolling Stock Logo Rollout Guidelines Issue v1.1". I can't upload the document in full but it is genuine. You could probably FoI a copy though...

Disruption between rose grove and Accrington 06/09/26

The 22.28 is a York crew onwards from Leeds. It's left Hebden so should run through to York as booked.

Companies That You Expect to Disappear Soon

I'm not totally convinced by that. Dixons bought PC World in 1993 and for a long time the business model was identical between Currys and PC World. It made absolute sense to merge the stores under the wider brand. Charging above average, pushing warranties and clueless staff sounds exactly what...

Could someone please let me know which classes of rolling stock are used on which of Northern and ScotRail’s routes?

195, not 155. There is also one booked working for a 155 on York to Leeds via Harrogate.

They do have to be lowered before the train can be permitted into the platform.

Why doesn't Ripon have a train line towards Harrogate or York?

Would the money for reopening Ripon not be better spent on redoubling the single sections between Knaresborough and York, modernising the signalling and potentially wiring?

Northern Unit Refurbishments and depot allocations.

It's the current plan, though obviously I can't share proof. Current logo, app store logos, coloured circles and web address gone then that new wording added instead.

Companies That You Expect to Disappear Soon

It wouldn't surprise me if the high street business was actually making a loss, so the £10m was better than keeping the stores.

Northern Unit Refurbishments and depot allocations.

Just 150276 moving West tomorrow. 1788032944 158790 is also transferring from Heaton to Neville Hill.

We've been told it's the same system as used on the CAF units.

Sign language on train route information displays (and station departure boards)

That would be the media screen, which was installed after the PIS screens (which are on the carriage ceilings and always show journey information) and not that long ago was only used to show adverts.

Great British Railways - First Train in New Livery

You'd need to find someone wanting to buy surplus railway vehicle paint in those colours, for a start. I can't imagine that would be easy.

I could use your advice, technically valid ticket but ran off

On the balance of probability - i.e. which is more likely. Your story - you buy a return ticket more expensive than a single ticket, only use it in one direction and buy another coach ticket to make a slower journey home. Their story - you buy a ticket and use it in the wrong direction to...

    No, they don't.
