    As previously said Liverpool trains do not stop at Nuneaton only each hour at Tamworth or Lichfield Trent Valley.They could stay on until Birmingham New Street and change for Liverpool there.

    In the early 2000s when Liverpool crews still signed 158s I went home to Broad Green from Lime Street. The conductor who was a bit of a joker said that he could not find Warrington Bank Quay in the PIS so he put the nearest one to it which was Wick.

    Why is Edge Hill closed on Sundays?

    The very frequent 26 bus stops outside the station and goes to Liverpool ONE via Toxteth and Park lane,avoiding a long walk to Smithdown Road. From where you say you live, your nearest station if you so desired is Mossley Hill.
