I was on the train involved, the 0840 from Euston. Ended up 80 late into Piccadilly. The TM was very good, helpfully advertised Delay Repay and how to claim it which I've not always noticed in such circumstances previously.

I got on 1D89 at Crewe, the 16:49 to Chester which had been started from Milton Keynes, of the 5 coaches I reckon at least 3 were completely empty when it arrived at Crewe. We were then 20-odd minutes late leaving due to waiting for both a Train Manager and a Driver who'd been delayed en route.

Just been on 1A46 sat outside Crewe for half an hour waiting for a platform. I got off at Crewe but it's now sat in platform 5 waiting to be allowed to proceed.

There's one at Helsby now, I can't recall the name of a it though.

I was on it as far as Crewe yesterday morning and it was reasonably well loaded but no busier than normal. However there did seem to be quite a few waiting to get on at Crewe.
