I think I made it clear in my original posting, aside from the small mistake regarding 37198/255 which was simply something I was passed on which turned out to be false (touch wood). I have a contact or two at the GCR and my mate does indeed know the driver. As for how much the driver...

Ha ha, yeah! 8-) By the way, I should add that I was reading too much into things which I was told by certain individuals, and that it's unlikely that 37198+255 will be in service at this "mini gala".....apolagies for any confusion caused.

Having spoken to someone who knows the person who will be driving 37610 on the 26th/27th, and having spoken to someone who works at the GCR I can confirm that the event is in it's final planning stages. Expect something to appear on the official GCR website in due course. And yes, the plan is...
