Two of the 717s stabled at Hornsey have been graffiti-ed overnight, it seems, and will be sent to Bedford for cleaning as Hornsey don't have the relevant cleaning materials yet.
(717s are cleared for anywhere that 700s are cleared for, as long as the tripcocks are removed first.)
After the May timetable changeover one of the signals outside Littleport was incorrectly listened as a station stop rather than a timing point on the Kings Lynn trains, so appeared on station CIS screens as part of the calling pattern.
There is a small locker room, toilet and kitchenette in the booking office building behind the ticket office window/desk. It is surprisingly TARDIS-like in how much they fit in!
There isn't the room there. The two sidings are 8 car and are used for berthing in times of disruption - storing a Thunderbird there would occupy the track circuit and immediately halve the number of sidings available, especially as the 73 is seldom used as a rescue train.
