What is the work at Springburn station
Ok, fair enough but what is baffling me is they have installed a signal at the Springburn end of the Queen St (City) bound platform and also a crossover from that road over to the one that heads for Springburn? I cannot for the life of me think why? The only thing I can think of is, are they...- Class 126

The current service is between Springburn and Balloch/Dalmuir. In days gone by passengers for Cumbernauld had to catch the Electric service from Queen St Low Level and change to a DMU service at Springburn, then they built the Cowlairs Chord and ran Sprinters direct into Queen St High Level...- Class 126
