You will have to do Level 2 City and Guilds during the course if you don’t have them, don’t worry about it.

No they aren’t giving everyone a car each, if you’re local to someone on your course you will share.

You will get a letter approximately 2 weeks before your course, that letter will have a detailed summary of your training schedule. It will also have your hotel and hire car confirmation if that’s applicable to you. Good luck for the course in Ipswich, still can’t quite believe we start on monday.

I haven’t had any confirmation about the hotel yet either, I’ll email them next monday if I don’t hear this week.

I can only help on those 2 questions as I was offered an interview with DB, they accepted my assessment pass marks which were over 3 years old, and they are not to enhanced standard.

Congratulations to everyone who have recently passed their DMI. I’ve got my medical next week with a projected start date for November, exciting!!! Almost need a seperate thread for everyone who has been successful/talent pool candidates.

Completely agree with the above post, there is plenty of information on their website that you can talk about, even has a nice timeline to use... Don’t over complicate things.

I had my stage 2 on the 21st, my email didn’t mention a talent pool just wanted some of my details for a medical. I’m assuming I’ll be placed in a pool awaiting a start date once the medical is done.

Yeh, hopefully we’ll be working together in the future! Feels close now but don’t want to get too excited yet.
