Just to say that I had a borderline pass in Bristol in September, but continued with my Train Manager application. I went to Plymouth for that - and enjoyed(!) it - well, not quite the right word, but hey! I got an email this week to say I'd passed full assessment and now await an interview...

Thanks Welshjpc - that's what I figured. I also applied for Train Manager (inspired by 'The Railway') and they've sent me practice materials, so I shall apply myself :-) Have booked in with Optician as seriously, my eyes haven't been the same since the GBT - I think it strained them! :-)
