2 coaches of a 455 were outside the Vossloh shed yesterday at 1250 with
the works shunter attached.
I could only see 1 coach number 71689 which ABRail says is in 455853.
Eastleigh depot entrance seen from Campbell road bridge.
The 3rd rails were there at end of March. Seen when 34046 came through.
The picture was taken on the 12th June and they had been removed.
I saw a gang working one visit there, but do not recall date, and of course
not noticed...

Off topic back in the 1970's I worked with someone who had worked shifts in the Northam station ticket office.
ABP are showing it arriving at 1930 on the 11th.
Berth 35 is allocated for Tamerlane. Thats on the River Itchen part of the docks opposite Weston one of the most attractive parts of Southampton.:lol:

The raildata website refers to rail alignment and geometry information.
Perhaps its just using RaIL Alighnment to make the acronym.
I snapped it on Jan 6th on the front of 70810 at Eastleigh, in a what on earth is that moment .
