It was a while ago. It was a bit odd as they said on the phone they had several in stock, but we weren't able to see any others-just this blue one. They held our trade-in keys while we test drove it, and we decided we would buy it. We went back in and said we liked it, but it all went a bit odd...
I bought a Volkswagen recently, 4 years old from a non-VW main dealer. It broke down very soon after, and has been on diagnostics many times, but a number of garages including the supplying one could't fix it. It's had to go back to a VW dealer miles away, not at my expense. I stood my ground...
Trump is clearly wrecking everything for his own benefit. BBC thing is a distraction, I hope they can fend him off. Anyone from the US on here to comment? And once he's gone, will others keep up the pressure. I apologise that he's half Scottish
What a farce this has become. A long time ago. Whoever thought closing the Botley Road bridge should refund the bus fares for those of us who have to get off at Osney and walk the rest. We didn't need more clearance under the bridge; the Wantage/Witney/Swindon double deckers fitted comfortably...
In related news, Thames Valley Police (TVP) have launched a campaign against flowerpot thefts from gardens.

Bike theft is still a theft, and a crime. I had two good bikes stolen from my parent's pathetic wooden shed decades ago. I despair that our publicly funded police can't act. Anyone asked Farage his views on this
Are you suggesting that children should then be seated in a different carriage to the parents? Have you tried that? This is why almost every parent with kids uses their car
Cowley and Wantage seem fairly straightforward. Williams F1 might have some objections to the latter. Swindon-Wantage-Oxford with some more distant/intermediate stops looks a good plan
Didcot to Culham? There was a load of electrical stuff installed at Radley a while back, but it all seems to have been removed. Seems a backward step for Didcot-Oxford.
Only in Oxford could they have built a much-needed P&R at Eynsham on the A40 started in 2022, but failed to connect it to the main road https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdx5y5yjnd2o What a joke. This will undermine any hopes of a Witney rail service I'd think
OK as a Scot living in Oxfordshire I can see your point. Politics get in the way. Money better spent elsewhere though. There was a feeder station installed at radley, then removed again, that's pretty wasteful. Electric to Oxford must be a priority
Why are they bothering electrifying up to the Forth Bridge and stopping? That sort of investment would surely see Didcot-Oxford done. We're a long way off meaningful battery trains surely
Meanwhile, rail companies will focus their efforts prosecuting tourists and lilttle old ladies for getting on the wrong train with an advance ticket...
