On the 25th June 2024 there was a Rail tour from Paignton to Shrewsbury. It was steam hauled part of the way. I have attached a photo of this steam train along with its 10 coaches stopped in the Woofferton loop. How did this happen with no FPL,s ??

No you are right, all the trains leaving Shrewsbury for Birmingham were blocked and continued to be blocked for 4 weeks! That why I maintain that sending passengers for Birmingham to Shrewsbury was nuts !!
