3 days on the trot I've tried to get the 1700 from Buckshaw Parkway to todmorden. 23 24 and 25 cancelled. Terrible. Just gone for my return home at 2057 from Adlington to Buckshaw. Cancelled. Another hour in the rain.

So why 6 coaches?

I notice in the new temp timetables it states people travelling to Blackrod, Adlington and chorley to travel in front 4 coaches only. So does that mean it will be 6 coaches? How will this work?

I do hope so. Like you said its a very busy line even more so in the 6 weeks school holidays.

From the new timetable change it seems the train that goes from Manchester Vic to Blackpool North will now come from Wigan before forming said service. Does anyone know what xx departure from Wigan?

Tonight the 2056 from Adlington lancs to Blackpool North was cancelled. Me and others on the platform were shocked to see our train bomb through without stopping at 2042. Is this common when there isn't a conductor? As you can imagine it's really frustrating when you're at an unstaffed...

I think the fact that the 0610 service from leyland to Manchester airport will change to a Manchester Vic service will naff a few people off down the line. Also NRE says the Saturday journey doesn't operate at all?

Yes. I don't blame them either. I mean Euxton has no real time info. If the train is cancelled then you've a long wait. Still good for a cheap ticket to Wigan though, 490 from Euxton and 1070 from Buckshaw. Is that because it's just off another line? So many stations in a small area. I like it...
