    Have to agree with that, Just out of interest, I did a not very scientific acceleration test on 331106 with my GPS app, leaving South Elmsall for Adwick, I got 90 secs to 100mph from platform start.

    Certainly the one 331 ride that I have had was having door issues. Was 8 mins late departing Doncaster due to ‘technical issues with the train ‘ and on the return from Leeds, the guard seemed to be having problems getting some doors to work properly. Other than that, was very impressed with the 331.

    I know it’s a bit late for today, but might give some clues as to next weekend workings, odd and even hour arrivals into Doncaster this afternoon were all 321/322 operated. 331102/105/106/110 were all stabled in Doncaster West yard.

    The morning service was disrupted by signal failure around Bentley/ Adwick. I went out for the 12.29 Bentley to Leeds, which should have been a 331, but it was cancelled. I believe services were doing a shuttle between Wakefield & Leeds till the problem was sorted around 13.00.
