It seems that when a train travels within greater London, there are no ticket inspectors or if there are they don't bother to check. Also there are rail stations in Greater London that still don't have barriers. West Brompton is one example

The only bad thing by travelling via Tolworth is that trains come every 30 minutes from Clapham Junction

Will have to rule out Surbiton as it takes too long to travel to Epsom (45 minutes by bus) and its also zone 6 meaning I will have to pay more than if I travelled from Tolworth or Stoneleigh.

Thanks for that. Yeh Harrow & Wealdstone and Kenton are the same distance from my home so easier to go Harroqw & Wealdstone and go to Clapham Junction and take SWT or Southern Rail to Epsom. For the sake of saving around £30 quid a month would you say its worthwhile to go for the inboundary...
