    National Rail App

When using the plan a journey section, and selecting 'Last train' for any given journey using today's date I am consistently getting "We couldn't find any services for the journey you have requested. Please check your selection criteria." All subsequent dates working as normal.

Would that not be at the end of the ballot and the result confirmed rather than next week?

    ScotRail cancelling services July 2024

Language (so far) from Aslef says recommended to go to ballot rather recommended acceptance in said ballot. I'm wondering if it will go to ballot with no recommendation either way as the 4.5% is still below January RPI of 4.9%, which is the usual starting point for negotiations. ASLEF Scotland...

    ScotRail cancelling services July 2024

The Sunday Borders temporary timetable on Scotrail's website has an hourly service from Tweedbank starting at 0848. If you try to plan a journey today using, for example, the NRE app, the next one after the 0848 is the 1347. I understand they may be unable to run the ones in between due to lack...

Scotrail RMT strike action and possible temporary service cuts to a third of services

Surely to goodness the temporary timetable itself must be rejigged to reflect the fact that, unlike the last time a temp timetable was introduced by Scotrail, we're not in a Covid lockdown? They must have enough driving resources to maybe reduce frequency on most lines but to run a service...

ScotRail Industrial Relations issues (including conductor strike action)

Livingston and Greenock are being affected on Sundays at the moment due to the Ticket Examiners being involved in the dispute. I expect that will be the case as well if this strike goes ahead.

    Caledonian Sleeper discussion

It's only a day trip so no hotel accomodation needed. Advance Stansted Express return is £14. Should have added that I travel free on a Scotrail pass and might be going with him and that's why he is looking at the sleeper, otherwise flying would be a no brainer.

    Caledonian Sleeper discussion

Anyone know of any promo codes available between Glasgow Central and Euston? My brother is looking to travel for a day trip at the end of March but it's working out at £160 for the non flexible return berth tickets. He can get a return flight from Glasgow to Stansted for £26 but fancies the...
