As a driver working for First Eastern Counties working out of Vulcan Rd depot in Norwich I can honestly say we have not had any info from the company on our position if any of this comes off. I take no news as good news for now!
Yes it does, They will put you through the driving school and teach you how to pass a PCV test then once you have passed and get let loose with a service bus then you really start learning!
Very lucky the unit stayed upright! With the mouth wall of the tunnel there it could have been much much worse! Recovery will be awkward with both trains inside the tunnel though.
Sky News saying this is around the Hunton Bridge area just Sth of Kings Langley, the tunnel seperation of fast and slow lines is further south from there so a bit confusing as to where it actually is!
Gaffa tape is indeed the repair material of choice for them, there is one at Stansted running about with the N/S/R corner panel held on with the stuff!
It is essentially Terriblevision with the same coaches and lunatics driving them but with "Stansted Transport" legals on them and operating with City Link apparently.Time will tell but VOSA are already "hunting" them, thankfully, and all power to them!
We get a lot of local journeys on the 727 between Mildenhall - Newmarket and Cambridge. We sell 10 trip tickets for these journeys and carry at least 6 or 7 every morning!
The forward facing camera mounted on the back of the instrument binnacle is the supply for the screen in the top of the interior roof facing the passengers, it was put in to combat travel sickness on Mk2 Levantes onwards, I turn it off when it gets dark as it creates a flickering in my...
That is the car pick up/drop off point! cannot see the police putting up with this for very long! God knows where the coaches work from as they were slung out of Mid-stay on Weds eve at 5pm! Absolute cowboys, good riddance.
It did sound to me that this was finally the "end" for them this time. I pulled up at Liverpool St yesterday with an A8 and the Terravision Irizar Century in front of me was in a right state! It made our 57 plate tri-axles look really good! Their Irizar I6's are falling to bits as well with...
They are starting to carry more people now, it takes a little time to bed down a new route. I regularly pass them with a good few on. By the same token, A6, A8 and A9's are getting battered quite regularly and taking 57 pax on most runs out of Stansted is not unusual.

Not bothered to be honest! All of us are just glad they are gone! The bays they were on are now occupied by City-Link and Autostradale are next to them, both of these seem to be doing things the right way with drivers and vehicles so it has to be a positive move. Autostradale are more or less an...
Try a damn site safer coach station with the demise of Terriblevision and Squeezybus! Ask Mid stay about how much damage Terravision have caused since moving there! Easybus were forever just chucking litter all over the layover bays as well as using the grass area near the trees as a toilet...
