I suspect that 'Envoy' was referring to the position where someone is already on a train going to Paddington, so they avoid the change at Reading. With the Elizabeth Line connection from Paddington to Farringdon (at additional cost) the position for passengers with luggage isn't as hard as it...
Windsor basically runs in that position now, rather than the historical 58/28, so that Reading and Windsor trains leave Waterloo fifteen minutes apart. Even 13/43 is shared by Aldershot and Shepperton, with both having Putney stops.
Should be
66757->66667
66761->66671
66768->66678
66772->66682
66776->66686
66777->66687
66779->66689
66793->66693
66794->66694
66795->66695
66796->66696
Fairly straightforward once it is noted that 66780 to 66789 are the ex DB Cargo locomotives which aren't involved. Anything lower numbered...
That is very interesting, as previously it had seemed like the 0630 to 0930 window was basically set in stone.
What is also interesting is that it seems to apply in the opposite direction as well - eg Clapham Junction to Tunbridge Wells / Sevenoaks to Tunbridge Wells...
I think that 'OneOfThe48' is saying that the reputational risk of increases to off-peak fares and additional restrictions from Oval implementation is greater than the potentially positive outcome of other Oval changes, at least until March 2027.
The last update went live last December despite the fares freeze. The reshaping of fares for the next Oval extension will have to happen at some point. Does that mean people need to wait until at least March 2027 for Contactless to expand again?
The loco that does the Highlander into Edinburgh, can, and does, do the Glasgow ECS, so quite possible to only need 6 92s. This hasn't always happened though - the Highlander 92 used to spend the day at Edinburgh in the siding opposite platform 7.

North side of Ashford International shut so no HS1 services (or Canterbury West line) and consequent one day only run of 'fast' Ashford to Charing Cross services via Tonbridge.
Victoria SE also shut that day with 'interesting' non-stop runs from Ebbsfleet to Faversham on St Pancras to Dover...
I wasn't. I think it is clear that the + Any Permitted fare from Nottingham to Cornwall is valid via Oakham, and the + Any Permitted fare from Stamford to Cornwall is not valid via Kettering, but I admit I haven't checked tickets from further afield. I guess there could well be other tickets...
There isn't because Oakham to all the relevant routeing points in the West Country only has BP+PB as the available routeing and there are no +Any Permitted fares to from Oakham to anywhere in the West Country.
The best I can find is starting short on a ticket from Nottingham, which means that...
Well yes, someone with a Liverpool to London ticket on LNR whose Liverpool to Crewe connection is cancelled but which still makes the Crewe to Euston connection by using an Avanti service to Crewe doesn't necessarily get an entitlement to go all the way to Euston with Avanti?
Why is that shocking? The road is a shorter distance and isn't as restricted to the route it has to take. Try getting a coach to Corrour quicker than the train.
No. As 'yorkie' says, there is one opportunity to get off which is when the train manager has relesed the doors for the Fort William passengers to change trains, and come through to advise that the doors are open. The doors will be locked again once that has happened. There is no way of...
The Aberdeen portion, on which you are travelling from London, leaves before then. Basically, the Fort William passengers move on the prompt of the traincrew.
